Manipal University, now known as Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), is a private research university located in Manipal, Karnataka, India. The university was founded in 1953 by Dr. T. M. A. Pai, and over the years, it has grown to become one of the top-ranked universities in India.

Eligibility Criteria For Direct Admission in Manipal Institute of Technology 2025 for B.Tech
- Pass in 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Mathematics and English as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / any technical vocational subject*
- as optional, from a recognized Board, with minimum 50 % aggregate marks taken together in Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects *
- Technical vocational subject must be related to Chemical / Civil / Computer / Electrical / Mechanical streams
